Path Through the Sea

Exodus 14-15:20

Tell your child the bible story(a path through the sea) before completing the craft.

Point to Make:I can thank God that He always cares for me.

Learning the Idea:In this bible story God kept His people safe on a very long trip. He helped them cross a big sea. Let's make shoe prints and pretend we're going on a long trip and crossing a sea. We can thank God for caring for us too.

Craft:Shoe-print path

Supplies Needed:

length of butcher paper
glue
paintbrush
sand
crayons

Have your child stand on the butcher paper and outline their shoes with a crayon. Make several footprints down the length of the paper. Have your child brush a thin layer of glue inside their footprints and sprinkle sand to create sandy footprints.
