Creative Kids Food Snacks

If your kids are getting hungry doing all this crafting, here are some creative kids food snacks(crafts of another kind). Here you'll find creative kids food snacks and fun food decorating ideas for kids to enjoy.

Butterfly Sandwiches

Ingredients:

1 slice of bread
peanut butter or cream cheese
raisins
carrot stick, 3 inches in length

Cut the slice of bread diagonally to make two triangles.Arrange these two pieces of bread on a plate to make butterfly wings. Place the carrot stick between the pieces of bread that are side by side on the plate.The carrot stick is the butterfly's body. Spread peanut butter or cream cheese on the bread and add raisins for decoration. With a vegetable peeler, peel two carrot peels and arrange these on the plate for the butterfly's antenna.

Fish Crackers in the Cream Cheese ocean

Stir in some blue food coloring to cream cheese and arrange the fish crackers in the blue cream cheese "ocean" for dipping.

Tuna Spiders

Mix some tuna and mayonnaise together and put a tablespoon scoop of this mixture in the center of a plate. Arrange four thin bread sticks on either side for the spiders legs. Add two raisins on the tuna scoop for eyes. You can buy bread sticks or you can simply slice a piece of bread into four or eight thin strips.

Rice cake and/or Sandwich Faces

Ingredients:

rice cakes or round sandwich bread
peanut butter or cream cheese
carrot sticks
celery slices
raisins
mini marshmallows

Spread peanut butter or cream cheese on the rice cake or bread. Make face designs and features with the various food items.

Jello Fruits

Supplies needed:

Knife
oranges
spoon
muffin pan
two bowls
jello powder

Cut several oranges in half, from the stems to their bottoms. Scoop the fruit out of each orange half and save the fruit in a bowl. Put the empty orange rinds into the cups of a muffin pan. Mix jello as per package instructions. Let the jello cool slightly then pour it into the orange rinds. Put the pan full of rinds into the refrigerator. When the jello has set, cut each orange rind in half to make quarters.
